Weighted Blankets

Meeting the President and Founder of The Soothing Stitches Project, Nicole Strause, was quite an honor. Nicole entered our gym (and our hearts) filled with energy, laughter and ideas! She created her non-profit organization with dreams of providing low-cost weighted blankets and lap pads to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in our local community of Orange County, CA. and she has been wildly successful so far!

Centerpointe for Children is excited to be a part of this journey by being a location that offers a limited stock of these blankets to local families! ALL proceeds go directly to The Soothing Stitches Project and a purchase through us funds a blanket for another local family in need!

Please note that there is not an option to ship these blankets. Contact us for current availability and coordinating purchase and pickup! We cannot accommodate unscheduled or ‘drop by’ visitors.

Jellyfish Yoga

Unlike any other children’s yoga program, Jellyfish Yoga is offered to children of all abilities while addressing sensory processing and social skills in a small setting.

Providing evidence-based therapeutic exercises and sensory integrative activities to reach functional goals, the Jellyfish Yoga curriculum has been tailor made by Korrie Sparks OTD, OTR/L, RYT-200, a registered pediatric occupational therapist and yoga teacher. Beginning with a holistic and unique assessment of the child and utilizing a combination of screening forms and yoga tools, the classes develop to include breathing techniques, postures, sequences, and relaxation tools to match the specific needs of each yogi. Easy to follow home programs are shared with families to continue this healing practice outside of your child’s Jellyfish Yoga practice!
