Brianna Smith
MOT, OTR/L

Brianna is a licensed occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree with a minor in Deaf Studies from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2018. Brianna moved to Southern California soon after graduation and has spent her time as an occupational therapist serving children and their families.

She is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S) Approach to Feeding, and uses this approach to advance children’s feeding skills. Using her minor in Deaf Studies, she enjoys communicating via American Sign Language (ASL) and using this skill during treatments. Brianna has received post-professional training in Ayres Sensory Integration® through the Collaboration for Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration (CLASI) and is qualified to administer the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) and the Evaluation of Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI).

Brianna enjoys using imaginative and creative play to motivate and engage children during her treatment sessions. With a love for the outdoors, Brianna can always be found hiking, shopping at farmer’s markets, enjoying a day at the beach, or daydreaming about visiting a National Park.
